Girls Football

Hey :wave:

I've just joined the girls football team near me, ZOMG. I mean erk, why did I do that?
Anyway, apart from always growing up playing football with the boys, and ending up in the football team at school (being the only girl to ah!) I seemed to stop doing it. It's something I used to really enjoy, and kicking boys ass is just the best ;)

I go and speak to the manager on Tuesday, but I'm freaking.
What if I'm a shorty and can't join? What if I'm too meh to join? What if I'm not even wanted?
It's based on people 16+ so I'm hoping they would have matured enough.

Any tips in how to calm it till Tuesday?

    True.. I think it's because it's been around 6 years since I've even been in a team, which feels ages. I've played every now and then between then, but not been in another team. Maybe after the first few weeks I'll feel fine about it...

    You'll love it, and they'll all love you :d

    Just think all the players who are there now were all new once and felt exactly the same you do now, I did when I first joined a football team. Once you get to know everyone and feel comfortable you'll have lots of fun :thumb:

    (I am not much taller than you are and I managed to fit in :p )
