Hey
Thought we could have a thread on our favourite quote(s) sorry if there's already a thread like it.
I have a few favourite quotes, here's a few:
Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see a shadow. - Helen Keller
It's not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters. - Epictetus
What's yours?

My Fave quote though is "If you gave up at every stuggle you faced. You'd never of learned to walk"
(Apparently a latin proverb. I don't 100% agree with the word "fools" but it does get the point across)
The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.
(Socrates, paraphrased)
Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

When you kill one it is a tragedy, when you kill 10 million, it is a statistic
-Josef Stalin
― John Green, The Fault in Our Stars
"Round and round he walked, and so learned a very valuable thing: That no emotion is the final one."
― Jeanette Winterson Oranges are Not the Only Fruit
"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins."
1 Peter 4:8
"[God] has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God."
Micah 6:8
“Some humans would do anything to see if it was possible to do it. If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.”
― Terry Pratchett, Thief of Time
“I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.”
― Terry Pratchett, Sourcery*
(I'll admit I had to look those last two up, from half-remembered fragments.)
*A note: Death in Discworld speaks in a small caps font. We don't have that here, but the intention isn't that Death shouts!
I'ma just perm my hair like Al Sharpton
