What can I ask?
Maybe you're not sure where to start or what kind of volunteering you should try to get the skills that you need. You might be unsure about how much of a commitment you can make or nervous about meeting new people. You might be volunteering or doing work experience at the moment but not feeling that you're learning anything new. Whatever your question this is the perfect opportunity to come and find out more.

She's got a wealth of experience and we have an hour of her time in the chat room :thumb:
How does it work?
If you've not been to an expert chat before, they work a bit differently. Your questions and comments will be approved before they appear in the chat room so that Sam can answer questions one person at a time. Helen and I will be there to explain things on the night and approve all your comments

About Sam...
For over 10 years, Sam has been involved in volunteering, especially with young people. She's worked on exciting volunteering programmes at the Citizenship Foundation and a stint managing corporate responsibility for a law firm. She's also been Head of Volunteering for youth charity Catch22 before landing up at vInspired as Knowledge & Innovation Manager. Sam is a passionate about the power of volunteering to transform lives and particularly how volunteering can support employment for young people.
