I made a Black Forestesque gateau last week. Fatless sponge (counteracted by the large pot of double cream i used to fill/cover it) and soaked it in a brandy syrup. Had a rum baba taste to it but still nice.

I made lemon drizzle cupcakes yesterday. Nothing fancy but they went down a treat. The mixture was very runny though so scooping them into the cases took a while.

I made gingerbread... things. The people are a bit wonky, I didn't have a person cutter shape so I had to do them by hand, and my decorating skills are as good as a 3 year olds, but they're tasty!

Today made lemon bars and then some tarts with the leftover filling, lemon drizzle cake and tiffin!

Also made some cheesy muffin type things but they were disgusting, gonna stick to good old cheese scones in the future

I made chocolate cupcakes, some with peanut butter cream frosting and some with orange butter cream frosting :D Oh and I made some dark chocolate truffles to put on the top (yes, I know they look like nipples but they're tasty :p )

It was hard to make the frosting look nice because my dogs ate my piping bag :grump:

Has anyone been watching GBBO. I want to make Angel's Food Cake. Without the salt, of course.

I've moved into a new house and all the temperature numbers have rubbed off the oven. I don't know how I'm going to bake now!

Have you got a ring tin ? You can make them in an ordinary tin, but the outside tends to burn before the inside is cooked.
