    Good luck!

I finally got round to it today. It's cooling but will take a photo once iced. Smells delicious.

Looks so yummy. Do you have the recipe for the chai latte cakes?

Yellow- I'm having a go at the orange and white choc cake today! But am armed only with a sandwich tin. We shall see how it goes..

    Afraid not.

Today I made Spinach and cheese muffins.

Also this evening I made blueberry muffins but I made a bit of a mess as I dropped 6 of them on the oven floor and they ruined and made lots of smoke. But the other 12 are good.

Chocolate covered rice krispies with a peanut butter mousse for dipping them in.

I saw the recipe a few weeks ago and have been so anxious to make them, and I finally have an occasion!

It was so divine I gave myself a stomach ache :p

I'm not totally sure what kind of measurmenst you use so I'm just going by this website, so if it turns out all fucked up, blame them! http://www.recipes4us.co.uk/conversion_charts.htm

Mix together 250g peanut butter, 100g brown sugar and 4oz heavy cream.

In a cold bowl with a cold wisk (electric), whisk 12oz heavy cream until thick (about a minute). Slowly add 5ml vanila extract and 15g of granulated sugar. Whisk until peaks form (another couple of minutes). In small batches, fold the cream into the pb mixture.

Tasty :yum: I'm not sure if it'll work with vegan cream though! I'll try!

Do they make a vegan pre whipped cream? I bet that could be used instead of making your own. Just use about twice as much of it.

there is a vegan 'cream cheese' that has the consistence of whipped cream (not the squirty one).

How's it going guys? I'm feeling rather poor, just went to the supermarket to buy ingredients for my housemate's birthday cake and it came to over £10 :( Will bake later in the week.

Tried to make a banana chai bread in the bread maker...didn't actually cook properly. :( Gonna try again so theirs something for tea later. Its a very healthy recipe - 2 bananas (pref over ripe), 1 mug of chai (no milk added), 2 cups of flour, 1 egg and a good glug of agarve syrup/sprinkle of stevia/other natural sugar substitute of your choice.

Although I hate the daily hate mail, Delia Smith has got some of her recipes in it today - I'm really interested in the marmalade cakes.

Not bad. Needs a bit of tweaking.

I'd do - chocolate cupcake with chopped morello cherries (from a tin/jar, not glace) maybe replace 15-20% of the flour with ground almonds to give it some substance so you'd need a little baking powder as well. Creamy topping with chopped/curcled/shaved chocolate. You could also put a few drops of kirsch on them before you put the cream on.

I read that four times as "wish I could have icing like that". I was going to ask if you meant personally or culinarily!

I can contribute to this thread! It inspired me to go to Tesco before and bake! I'm addicted to Kinder Bueno's lately so decided to use them. My friend said they looked 'cute', damn good for my baking skills! So tasty!:d

White choc sponge, stuffed with nutella, layer of white choc on top, then butterceam icing and a bueno!

The cake didn't work as it should have (I was doubling quantities, and accidentally doubled the liquid twice, so it has no air in at all!) but tasted yummy.

    Fiend's birthday cake:
