i was previously signing on as usual until last year i had to take a trip to asia for three weeks from dec14 to jan 07/2013, now that i am back will i be able to claim for job seekers allowance again.

    I'm afraid I don't know the answer to your question, probably the best thing is to contact your Jobcentre and arrange a meeting.

    Yeah you will. I went to HK for three weeks and signed off, came back, signed on (only for a few days though). Depending on your age you'll be pushed onto one of the Work Programme schemes. Your claim is valid for something like 6 months from when you last applied so it just continues from where you left off.
