4 months on and I'm back to being happy go lucky me :D It was the hardest thing I ever had to do and I do still miss him but I am much happier!

    Thanks guys! It took me 16 months after the violence first started (and it was only intermittent) to finally feel scared enough to actually leave. Everyone has been so amazing and supportive. Now, I'm just having a damn good time ;)
