GP appointment... again...

So, I made a appointment to go to the GP, and I went on Tuesday... helpful? No. She told me I have OCD and that she'll refer me on to the Eating Disorder Team and tell Becki.

Weirdly enough, Becki knows, and there's no point of her getting in contact with the ED Team if I don't have one. Grrr.

I got a text earlier, saying I have another appointment at the Docs. Becki made the appointment for me. The joooooys of having to go for bloods! Really don't feel like going in all honesty - I mean what's the point? She'll get me out the room faster then I can say 'hey'!!

Don't actually want to go, that's how much she annoyed me!!

    Did you find it unhelpful because you don't think you have OCD? If you go in again you should ask the GP why he came up with that conclusion.

    I found it unhelpful cause she basically said she's referring me to the ED Team, which is silly!
    OCD is nothing... didn't really shock me that much tbh!

    Yeah, when I first went, I went to the Docs down the road from me and he was really understanding (and a lover of smurfs) so I got on with him.... but I have to go to a different surgery and the woman is more stubborn and blunt than me!

    also, some clinicians believe that eating disorders are part of the ocd spectrum, so that might explain why the doctor mentioned both things.
