if you were caught doing 85 on a motorway, day time/clear visibility, what kind of fine/points would you expect ?

i know it's not an exact science, but a ballpark figure if anyone knows, ta :)

    It's SP50 offence so 3 points and standard £60 Fine. Or it was for me.

    Weirdly there has been a TONIGHT program about police and other emergency services being at risk of prosecution due to speeding when responding to emergency calls.
