We wanted to let you know that we're recruiting a new member of staff in the Engagement and Support Team (which consists of LauraO, Patrick*Gringo*, Fostress, Jo7 *Seany* and meeee!). The role is full time, and will be based here at YouthNet HQ in Old Street, London.
We are looking for a new Volunteering Coordinator to work on a new project which is funded by our Virgin London Marathon 2013 official charity partnership with Age UK. Young volunteers will be teamed up with older people in a ground-breaking project to deliver IT training. Through this training, the older people involved will have the chance to get up to speed with the digital world, improving their quality of life.
The role of the Volunteering Coordinator is to drive the successful involvement of young people volunteering in this project. Based in YouthNet’s Engagement and Support team, you’ll be the main point of contact for young people applying to volunteer on this programme. You’ll help them develop as volunteers through online training and support.
