Long lasting work shoes

Hi everyone. Im looking for some long lasting, hard wearing work shoes.

Im on my feet literally all day at work, either standing still at a till or running around clearing tables. Although i buy just cheap dollys shoes from somewhere like matalan they wear through in about 2 months!

They need to be black and something lights, not heavy boots cos i'd get way too hot.

Any ideas where i can find some shoes that will last

    marks and Spencer's foot glove shoes. I think mine were about £30/£35 but they're really comfortable, I spend a lot of time on my feet too. I've had them about two years and they still look new, no real signs of wear. x

    If you hadn't said "Not Boots" i'd have said Hi-tec Magnum patrol boots. Otherwise, you can get a shoe version. Don't think they're very feminine though.

    It's the initial outlay. I've got some good solid clarks shoes. They wear well, but I can't yet tell you how long they last because my dog keeps eating them.
