I am sorry to hear that you are feeling like this today, is there anything that you think could of triggered these feelings of being low ? I know that you said you have been having quite intense and vivid dreams lately, have these woken you up at night and you have found it difficult to get back to sleep, hence making you feel tired today ?, this can generally make you feel down and detached from people.
Have you got a close family member or friend you can open up to and let them know you are going through quite a low period at the moment ? I hope you also find it useful to post here at the site and we are always here to listen if you need somewhere to offload.
Please keep on posting and let us know how things are going for you*hug*
Take care,
B
No I do not normally feel tired I normally sleep 5-7 hours a night with waking up several times and I am normally alright with that. I feel low on a regular basis and I do tend to see my tutor when I do or I just keep it to myself or write in down in like a diary - diary writing normally helps me.

How are you feeling today ? It sounds like keeping a diary is a really useful thing for you to be doing. It is a really effective way of tracking your feelings and looking back over to see if there are any patterns as to why you feel low in mood more on some days than on others. It is nice to hear that your tutor is really supportive and that you can speak and open up to them when you are feeling low. It would be great to hear how you are getting on so please keep posting and let us know how things are going for you.

Today I feel a little better compared to the past few days.. yesterday was horrible teacher wise and I felt let down from my old place of work then embarrassed my self on the bus :crying: Well today I haven't done so well with my eating so I feel a little bad about that but on Thursday I am going to this place for some support a little nervous about that. Diary keeping is useful yes and I also use a similar technique in talking to people as I find writing down easier than saying
Take care Louise *hug*
What you describe are classic symptoms of depression, i.e. feeling detached from others/ and possibly reality; disrupted sleep pattern; irratic appetite; low mood and poor motivation.
Suggest you check out with your GP.

I am going somewhere for my eating on Thursday they just specialise in eating though so what I might do is see them first then go to my GP

If you have a serious eating disorder, and you have been starving yourself or regurgitating food, then that is likely to affect your mood and cognitive processing.
I hope you feel better soon
