I always thought I was an auditory learner because, as a history major, all of my classes were lecture and I'd come away with a dozen pages of solid notes. Once we started getting really into styles in my teaching classes, I realized I was actually a very very hands on learner and the big blocks of text were normal for my situation, while others thought I was weird
When I need to search for notes, oddly enough, I can easily find what I'm looking for, though if I read something like that online, I'd skip right over it.
I've kept all my history notes for future use and I have about a dozen and a half notebooks filled front to back just like the attached...
One of the most provoking images I remember when I was writing my final project was that of a naked pregnant woman.
