This coming Thursday (29th March) from 7-8pm we’ll be hosting an expert chat around Eating Disorders before the general chat that starts at 8pm.
Our expert will be friend of TheSite.org, Andrea Scherzer. Andrea is a Psychotherapist, trainer and media advisor with 10 years experience of working with young people and adults who struggle with eating disorders.
In addition to her private psychotherapy practice, Andrea has worked extensively in the NHS, the private health sector and the State education system. She lectures at Regent's College School of Psychotherapy and Counselling in London and was an agony aunt at Bliss magazine between 1997-2007.
What can I ask Andrea?
You might be worried that you have an eating disorder, struggling to cope, concerned for a friend or family member or just curious about the issues. Whatever the question Andrea will be here to offer her advice and to help you think about your next steps. We'll also be able to link you to further information and support online.
How does it work?
The chat will be moderated by myself and **Helen**. Your questions and comments will be held in a queue before they go through to Andrea so we'll do our best to get to everyone's questions.
Is it confidential and anonymous?
Chat is open to everyone and it's a group chat so anything you ask about will be visible to the group. Expert chats are published online afterwards in the chat archive. If you'd like to remain anonymous then chose a different username than usual.
When chat is open on the night you will be able to log in from this page:
