Here are the details...
The government is freezing the minimum wage for people under the age of 21 (that's £4.98 for 18-20 years olds and £3.68 for 16 - 17 year olds). They are doing this on the grounds that it "will make it harder to get a job" if they raise wages. The Guardian would love to talk to people who are earning the minimum wage about the prospect of having their salaries frozen. What difference will it make to the way you live? Can you afford daily living expenses now even?
