Cut own hair (short back and sides)

I'm wanting to cut my own hair (short back and sides) whats the best clippers to use? I don't want the top of my hair too short because I don't think it'll look right on me.

Any ideas?

If it's because you are tight on money, ok.

If it's because you are too lazy to go to the hairdresser and you don't know anyone who can cut it for you, don't.

You will look like a tool, believe me, I tried cutting my own hair. Each time saying, "nah, I got this. This time I will be better." and the next time I get up from over the sink to look into the mirror I am fucking Ringo Star.

I cut my hair all the time. My fringe grows pretty fast...so needs cutting every so often.

I think it's a lot easier for a girl to cut her own hair than it is for a guy.
