Mum and now dad have passed on within twelve days of each other. 8(
Both expected, but difficult non the less.

So sorry to hear about your loss. Losing someone you love is very hard and as you say even if expected does not make it easier. Please read our article on dealing with death as some parts may be able to help.

Really sorry to hear about this. As lots of others have said there aren't many words beyond horrible to describe this.

I hope that you're as ok as can be expected in such an awful situation. Don't forget as well that we're all here if we can help in any way whatsoever.

That is terrible. My father passed away about ten years ago - but I have no idea how I would have handled both of my parents passing away in such a short space of time.

The only thing I can say is to ensure you allow yourself to grieve and talk if you feel you need to.

Well, that's it. Dad finally laid to rest with mum. Hopefully no more heartache for a while 8(
