So what has happened to this summer's transfer market then? Where are the big money moves? Or even the smaller moves?

Has football taken a total break since the World Cup?

As far as Derby are concerned, we have signed........nobody! Terms had been agreed with Robbie Mustoe but we don't have enough money to pay his wages :( In other words, were skint :(

If Everton come up with the 7 million you want for Poom then that would be some transfer activity, plus Malcolm Christie is arguably your biggest star and i'm sure a few clubs are looking at him

The new boys have signed many decent players so watch out for them :D

Villa have signed Maruc Allback (played up front for Sweden) :) and have kept hold of Alpay and Angel :D:D Boateng will leave soon which is a shame because he is very good player.

Next year Villa should score so many goals with Angel, Vassell, Crouch, Allback and a few youngsters. Whether we can create chances for them in the midfield is an entirely different question...

    Score so many goals...

But whther they do or not is a different matter :D

Middlesbrough have made some good signings... Massimo 'pasta' man Maccorone (sp) has gone there for just over 8 mil plus today they signed Geremi from Real on a seasons loan plus they want Juninho but his wage demands area stumbling block in the proposed transfer.

There's always a team that promise much but deliver little. West Ham and Spurs recently. Maccorone (sp?) looked like a player full of potential when I saw him play a while ago. Something wrong though when players like him are moving for £8m  . Geremi? Yeah alright fair enough good player just won't get into Real midfield (which doesn't make him useless). Juninho would be great for them and it would be great to see him back in the Premiership :D
