You're oh so beautiful teal blue eyes,
You're magical whole hearted smile,
The way you kiss my neck,
And for a brief second,
Your soul touches mine,
The soft touch of your hand,
On my face,
In my hair,
The perfect moment our eyes meet in a stare,
The way you whisper "i love you"
So gently only I can hear,
The deep sound of your voice,
Is wonderful to listen to,
The constant rhythm of your breath
Is music to my ears,
You pull me so tight into your chest,
It banishes all of my fears,
When I lay snuggled in your arms,
I have no need for tears.
You make me safe,
You make me smile,
You take me to a happy place,
Where nothing matters,
Because it's just you and I.
Nothings going to harm me,
Not when you're around,
My "knight in shining armour"
Has certainly been found.
But now,
I look on you from a far,
Sitting in a place of dark,
A place of creeping night time shadows,
Of evil, destruction, and hurt,
A place filled with blood and nightmares
A place in which I am alone,
A place from which,
Only you can save me.
