What's Your Major?

I apologize if there is already a thread on this, there usually is, but I didn't see one.

For those of you going to college/university, what's your major? Or, if you're lucky enough to be finished with school, what did you get your degree in?

I'm majoring in anthropology, with a focus in cultural anthropology/archaeology.

    From what one of them said to be, I think it's just a bunch of mates from around various places of the USA.

    On topic, do we refer to it as what you "major" in, in the uk?

    Yes, "what's your major" is the same as "what are you majoring in".

    In other words, once you go on to college/university, you tend to pick a specific area to focus in for your degree, I'm sure it's the same there as here. Sorry if my Americanized way of saying it didn't translate perfectly to British though. xD

    It is worth mentioning again that whilst not all are, the majority of the users on this site are 16-25 so there will at least be a few people on here who have yet to start college/university.

    Those of you who have not yet started, what kind of subjects would you want to do?

    Some high schools have majors too though. I majored in web design and business in High School. Hated it.
