Our skin is the mirror of our body and it is also our protective covering which is exposed to adverse climates and pollution. Being the outer covering, skin is a very vulnerable organ and it falls prey easily to pathogens. It plays an important part in our appearance too; hence it is necessary to protect the skin properly.
There are a lot of disorders that can affect the skin. During summer, the scorching sun may cause sunburn and suntan. The ultra violet radiation in the sunlight causes the sun burn and surely nobody likes to have patches of darkened skin in the body.
Some people are allergic to direct sunlight and they suffer from itchy rashes and redness during summer. This is called Photodermatitis. Pigmentation, freckles, chloasma, moles etc are some skin problems which worry many. Improper functioning of melanin in the body, hormonal changes etc too can result in skin problems, Excessive sweating during summer may also lead to severe itching and rashes on the skin.
Any discoloration of your skin, especially if it is on your face, feet or palms are easily noticeable and it will decrease your confidence level. Hence it is always good to approach a dermatologist or go for an effective skin ayurvedic treatment to help your skin wash away all the ailments.
