I went on Saw Alive last month. I actually found it hilarious, but I know if my friend wasn't shitting his pants, I would have. I was at the front. There were a few moments I jumped and wanted to get out ASAP, but I wouldn't go on it again.

    FUCKING BRILLIANT

We went about 2/3 years ago. They had 3 mazes. One i can't rmemeber which was ok. 7even which was good and Asylum which was bloody brilliant. Was like a cross between a mental hospital and Silent Hill, just before the klaxon goes off.

I haven't been to fright night, but my brother went like 3 times last week :L he's a right roller-nut. But it's always busier on like the friday, sat & sun as people are off work and stuff but it's better because it's darker but i think if you go in the week it's less busy.
And if I remember from what he's told me you don't need any passes for the maze, but it should tell you on the website :)

Think we went on a weekday. No, you dont need passes, and later on in the day there were no queues on anything plus the park was open till about 8/9 pm

It is entirely possible that she was mentioning that halloween was good at alton towers, and a recent visit was as well.
