London based volunteers needed for Centrepoint speak out event

Centrepoint is looking for volunteers (aged 18-25 years*) to help with their "SpeakOut" event. This is an event organised and run by young people living at Centrepoint hostels.
Centrepoint is a national charity working to improve the lives of socially excluded homeless young people. We provide a range of accommodation-based services, including emergency night shelters and short-stay hostels, specialist projects for care leavers, ex-offenders, young single parents, foyers and supported flats and floating support services. From these accommodation based services, Centrepoint helps young people to turn their lives around by gaining essential life skills, tackling physical and mental health issues, and moving into education or employment and a better future.
SpeakOut is an event where young people from Centrepoint will come together to talk about their concerns, views and ideas, before sharing these with a panel of Senior Managers.
During the event there will also be entertainment, food and a prize draw.
Although this event will be organised and managed by Centrepoints young people, we are looking for a team of volunteers to make this possible. Tasks will include:
* Assisting with setting up the event and helping to clear away
* afterwards
* Registering young people as they arrive for the event
* Stewarding young people between activities
...and more! Volunteers will need to be creative, friendly and fun to be around!
