the pill & antibiotics & the implant: question?

i recently got the implant and my doctor said that it can cause me to bleed irregularly for a while, but she said you can take the pill to stop the bleeding if it becomes a nuisance and that's what i've decided to do. because i started to bleed.

i'm on the pill for 3 months so my implant can sort itself out

but i'm also on antibiotics, does that mean that my pill won't stop the bleeding? because of my antibiotics? i'm so confused :confused:

    I would suggest making an appointment with the doctor to get a definite answer. Anti-biotics do lower the effectiveness of the pill but with all three of these things in play it's hard to say what will outweigh what.

    You can also call NHS Direct and speak to a nurse over the phone - 0845 46 47.
