More than a pound, which is how much it would cost to buy the condom in the first place.

More than £20 which is how much it would've cost to take the MAP.

More than the cost of supplying you with the Pill.

But don't worry, it's all shared by the taxpayer, so it costs you nothing when you go to the NHS and say "I want an abortion."

Turtle, leave the poor girl alone, she's only bloody asking...
Not that I know how much it'd cost, sorry.

I don't know but i know the Tv always says £400 but surely it can't be that much. Phone your doctors and get it done on NHS or go to the clinics and they should be able to help!!!!

    Good Luck

Turtle, do you know the circumstances? No. Shut the fuck up.

Somegirl - An abortion is free on the NHS, but there are waiting lists, I'd suggest you get yourself down to your GP or local family planning clinic sharpish.
An abortion in a private clinic can be anywhere between £300 to £500+ (in the late stages) depending on how far the pregnancy has gone.

Also, be sure to have a follow up appointment with your GP or clinic to discuss contraception.

    *sees Turtle's point*

However:, Somegirl, have you considered any other options other than abortion?

Perhaps it would help us if you gave us some details about why you want to know. Is it for you or someone you know, or are you just curious?

When you ask shokcing questions like this, it is only reasonable to give a little background.

    Good luck Somegirl. :(

    Free on the NHS.

As for the waiting lists, me mate had one straight away.

    Somegirl,

It depends where you are. If you're unfortunate enough to live in Sussex, they'll charge you about £200 (well, that was the cost a few years ago), 'cause the NHS there refuses to fund them.
Everywhere else it should be free & I doubt whether there are waiting lists. Get yourself to a family planning clinic pronto and talk to a kindly nurse type who'll actually know what she's talking about.
    Good Luck
