Birth control pills

Does anybody know the chemical make up of the "pill" is it true that they are full of Estrogen in particular Estrodial.

    uummm not sure of the make-up of the pill exactly but a lot of them do contain estrogen and progesterone. I guess you can google the one you are thinking of (like... microgynion) and see what it contains?

    If you'd asked me that a couple of months ago, I would have been able to tell you. Unfortunately, all the biology I've ever learnt has gone straight out my head. Sorry not to have been more use :)

    this provides a bit of info (though i didn't understand most the the sciency bit lol) you can then wiki the pill you want to find out about and see what the chemical structure is?

    Are you thinking of taking the pill in order to oestrogen you up a bit? Unless it's been recommended by a doctor, I'm not entirely sure it's a good idea...

    i don't think they would be enough estrogen in the pill to do much :?

    early morning pills have a very different chemical make up compared to ordinary contraceptive pills- they're progesterone only

    Stupidly in a moment of desperation i was, i know its ridiculous and i have even warned others off doing the same thing which just makes me feel really stupid.
    I hate having no control over my body i know its hard to understand but it really disgusts and upsets me at times and i was just looking for an intrim fix if thats make sense.

    You *will* get there Louise. And I know I can't really understand, but I can see that this long wait must be really frustrating... Try and play things by the book though - it will keep you safe as well as all of your doctors / specialists happy :) Keep talking and good luck with things.
