Dream country for retirement retreat

If practical factors weren't have to be met, where would you like to live after working life?

My dream country is Sweden with idyllic lakes, snow capped mountains , not crowded and low crime

Somewhere warm, with good food and countryside.

Alternatively, if I decide to become a Nazi, I'll retire in Argentina.

I agree. Sweden is beautiful but they have such long dark winters.

Yet the suicide rate is high. Go figure.

Probably Hawaii, visiting the un-tourist areas and getting to know the state's culture. For a holiday, deffo Berlin in Germany, to check out some of their festivals, their raves and their huge travelling fairgrounds. Plus I have my long-term Berlin penfriend who I want to meet for real.

I am happy where I am, I haven't seen a lot of places yet tho. I reckon living somewhere were living is cheaper makes sense, because you are effectively richer :D

I'd love to spend at least the summers in Finland however. Fell in love with that country.

Funny how I came into this thread thinking, "I made such a shitty incoherent post, probably nobody quoted me." Ohhh see there :D

Whereas in other threads when I pat my own shoulder for a cool post and nobody notices it ='(

I didn't see any northern lights unfortunately. But I guess that's rather common in summer. Anyway, the holiday was beyond awesome and I love this country.

Somewhere that doesn't get hot in summer, doesn't get cold in winter, no crime and lovely people. Anyone know where that is?

Oh noesy woesy, I wouldn't tell the whole world about this amazing country if I found it. I would just go there and hope other people didn't follow to be honest. Leave the rest of the world doing what it does.
