For a paracetamol injection, does this need to be injected into a vein or can it go straight into muscle?

Paracetamol can be administered in either tablet, capsule, suppository, liquid suspension, intravenous (injected into a vein), or intramuscular form (injected into a muscle). I guess it depends why you are being given it. When the oral route is no longer available they are more likely to administer paracetamol intravenously in hospital.
Obviously, this is only safe when administered by a doctor and not something that should be attempted without help from a medical professional.
Hope that helps!

I wouldn't know about this. It's probably best to speak to your doctor about this and they'll be able to clear up any questions you have.
Take care,
