We wanted to let you know about an interactive funding opportunity that has just launched for young people in England aged 13-19. Up to 30 young people will win £1000 to make a positive change in their area and also receive support to help make it happen.
I Do Ideas has been designed to provide leadership opportunities for young people to be champions of change in their communities. Whatever the problem, you have the power to solve it - through music, sport, art or communication.
Log on to their website, sign up and upload your video or a text description of your project. They’ll work with you to get the details right and then, if your idea is successful you’ll be invited to a dragon’s den-style pitching session on 16th July 2010 - not long to go!!
The pitching sessions will be held at Arsenal Emirates Stadium, London or Manchester’s Old Trafford Stadium.
