i know it's really hard to just list favourite filmsl so i stuck the word 'current' in there. i want to steal some of your film suggestions too!

so... currently obsessed with 'true romance', i think quentin tarentino had some sort of influence..hence the guns i guess. it's just so good with really memorable characters. i loved alabama. eurgh i know this is a shit summary so will add more once world cup isnt blaring at me.

I know it's more of a chick flick, but I'm really into the Tinker Bell films at the moment. They're prequels to Peter Pan, and more are due out in 2010/11/12. Just one thing though Disney - please make up your mind on what colour Silvermist's eyes are! It happened with Nala/Simba in TLK too!

I'm liking Panic Room at the moment. Although it's the sort of thing you can only watch once.

Take it we're after favourite top movies right now, rather than recently released movies?

If so, I'm so sorting out a list when I get out the office :thumb:

Ahh, if we're only doing recent films, then disregard my choice. I'm not one for keeping up with cinema releases, sorry. I went to see a film earlier this year and it was my first cinema visit since 2005.

The films don't need to be recent, they just need to seem good to you currently.

Is that the one about Chris Mccandless (sp?)?

The first time I watched it, it was in French, but when I got home I bought the DVD the next day, it's an incredible film.

In the Mood for Love is Wong Kar-wai's astonishingly beautiful story of an affair or possible affair between two jilted partners in 1962 Hong Kong.

Beautiful, almost painfully so, but not just a painting, a real adult love story as well.

hmmn, I think I'm just going to have to take a massive break from watching/thinking about/reading movies before I can get any enjoyment out of them again...

    Bicentennial Man.

I honestly think people don't take it as seriously as it deserves.

Way of the Gun is big. One of my favourite films of all time, I think.

    Currently favourite films:

    Way of the Gun
    Delicatessen
    The Usual Suspects
The Ballad of Jack and Rose
