If England ars bidding for the 2018 world cup, do we know where the 2014 one is going to be yet?

    I'm going to be out the country for 99% of the tournament- will only be around for England's first match :(
    From a purely selfish point of view I therefore hope England don't win the world cup this year because I will miss out on the celebrations...!! Maybe in 2014 they can :) ha ha

    I've been to Brazil loads, nothing bad has ever happened to me and I used to live on a favela for 6 months.

    Guy I went to uni with got shot through the foot at a club in Rio. Whilst your experience doesn't mean that you'll definitely die if you go there, the stats don't lie.

    ...also I don't believe that SA should have hosted them this year. But this thread was probably not for this sort of discussion! So maybe it can be a kind of boycott on my part... :S
