Ashes to Ashes

I absolutely loved the first two series of Ashes to Ashes, and was eagerly awaiting series 3, but so far I'm a little bit disappointed with it, almost half way through and the plot line's hardly moved along at all :( . I wont give up on it though, maybe it'll get better.

Any Ashes to Ashes fans out there? What do you make of series 3 so far?

    I actually remember the early 1980s very well as I was a teenager back then. A lot of the music seems to be from the wrong time period as the series is set in 1981 yet there is loads of music in it from around the mid eighties. Why is that?
