Just dug out a letter of resignation I wrote a while ago... No idea if its a good example or not, I wrote it in about 5 minutes :chin:
    Dear _________

As required by my contract of employment, I hereby give you 2 weeks’ notice of my intention to leave _______ on the 25th April 2009.

I have decided that I need to spend more time on my school work in preparation for exams. This was not an easy decision to make as I have really enjoyed my time working for the company.

Thank you for having me as part of your team, all the best for the future.

    Yours Sincerely
    _______

Also - how creepy... today's date is the date I've got on there. Weird :eek2:

It doesn't need to be a work on wonder, so don't worry about it.

Awesome - good luck. Whatever you do, don't put the event into your Outlook calendar, like what my old boss did. Not only he wrote "resignation letter" on the calendar, but he also had the calendar shared with the whole department, so we all knew that he was going to resign a few weeks in advance :-D
