Right... what would happen when a a light ray is shone at a mirror and a glass box? Also... what would the ray diagram look like for this?

    Oh right, a glass block :p I was picturing a box with glass sides :p

    I'm still at school, but will have a look when I get home. Just had a google and came up with this. http://www.freezeray.com/physics.htm

    Have you done the investigation yourself? Because seeing it helps a lot. If not, try out the 3D simulations on that site.

    I'm on that site now :p It's confusing though! But thanks!

    And no I haven't done it, I don't normally go to science. So ermmm now I'm a bit stuck :-/

    you'd get refraction through the glass block (AKA prism), and reflection from the mirror

    Might be a bit advanced, but here is a gcse bitesize page on refraction.

    Also try youtube for videos of the actual experiment... you'll be able to understand/remember it so much better if you see it for real rather than just looking at a diagram.

    Yes yes yes!!!!! If you have them I need them for the work... meant to draw them or have a picture!

    Is the mirror and the glass box supposed to be happening on the same diagram?
