Poem: Masked

This mask has served me well
Each smile she could sell
She never let me down
And always hid my frown
I cowered from the life
Abundant with toil and strife
Being out in the open
Reveals that i am broken
The same act throughout the day
My insides fading away
Once alone i am weak
My emotions reach their peak
Bloody kisses from sharp lips
Skin raked with each of the rips
Keep it in, suppress it all
Never allow the mask to fall
Restrict them all from seeing
You are one pathetic being
And when it all starts to fade
You finally drop your blood stained blade
You're drowning in your own tears
Abandoned with all your fears
That your mask may lay on the floor
For you could take the pain no more

My first poem posted and just a pre-warning the majority of them are like this so now you know whether or not to bother reading these.
