Who Should You Vote For?

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
Just a little quiz to tell you which actual party policies most appeal to you. Post your results here.

I got 44.44% Green, 44.44% Lib Dem, 11.11% Labour.

Issue: Parties policies you chose
Crime: Green Party
Democracy: Green Party
Economy: Lib Dems
Education: Green Party
Environment: Green Party
Europe: Lib Dems
Health / NHS: Labour
Immigration: Lib Dems
Welfare: Lib Dems

So as you can see, I'm pretty right wing. It's interesting how different the results are when people pick the policies they support, rather than the party they like though.

Hmm, I only got the choice of 4 categories to answer about, so answered on education, environment, NHS and Welfare.
I'm ashamed to say that I got BNP for environment!!!
For the others I got the Green Party, who I really would love to vote for (and have in the past), but it just feels a little like a wasted vote :(

EDIT: Ah, I get it, you could pick more than 4, oops

Nice little quiz. I've always voted Lib Dem since I was legal in 1997. My results here were as follows:
Based on your answers it looks like you should be voting for The Conservatives in the next general election.

I had no idea I was that green. The result on the environment one particularly surprised me. Anyway, I live in Scotland and will be voting SNP, a party with left of centre and relatively environmentally friendly policies. The Greens and the SNP seem to have similar thoughts on some of the policies discussed here - Single transferrable vote and voting age lowered to 16 being two of the big ones. Obviously the SNP also support independence for Scotland (as a side note, so do the Scottish greens).

As far as I'm concerned, they are bollocks.

Honestly, I'd rather have the Monster Raving Lunar Party in charge than the torries :yeees:

So what one MP said in an era where racism was pretty much acceptable in mainstream society means you shun a party forever.

Don't get me wrong, there's not many people out there who despise the Tories as much as me but that's not quite a valid point to make in arguing against them.

Broken_Angel-politics in the UK has become centralised, there is no left and right anymore in the traditional sense, think of it as more of a sphere. No matter what you will identify with some parties policies no matter how much you hate them. The BNP for instance are against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, for different reasons yes but it is still one of their policies to remove soldiers from these areas. Don't think many would disagree with that.

Because I'm sick of all the immigrants.
