    Thought id throw this in for debate, as we all probably know;

    Guy sleeps with 10 woman = Complete stud, what a beaut, legend.
    Woman sleeps with 10 guys = Whore, slag, loose etc.

    Anyone know why the stigma surrounding that, is so accepted today?

    Nah i dont care bout that. Its not the number of people you have slept with that counts but you're attitude towards it that makes you a prick, men and women likewise.

    However if you're safe and discreet and not hurting anyone then do it as much as you like!

    There is also the assumption that if a woman sleeps with a few people she has low self-esteem, whereas a man would have high self-esteem.

    Discreet, always makes me think, that having a colourful love life is a bad thing? Or talking about it is, much from victorian times, where you're just not meant to talk about it.

    Exactly, this is what i mean. By discreet i mean keep yourself to yourself, get on with what you wanna do and let other do the same. Not be ashamed of it by any means but whats the use in flaunting it around?

    I think maybe its down to a little jealousey from the girls who dont get any, and double standards from the guys who want to screw anything in a skirt but expect their girlfiends to be pure and innocent.
    Personally i think everyone should have as much safe sex as possible as long as it doesnt hurt anyone else.
    Somtimes i think it would be funto have a slutty rep. :flirt:

    I decided out of better judgement, id rather go for a picnic, icecream and sunbath, with a couple of drinks and long chat instead :) Seem'd more fitting for my day of, far more enjoyable too

    What about - in a reversal of roles - a woman(in her 30's, just to paint a useful picture) who had slept with over 80 men?

    Would we consider her to be confident, stud, legend - or the other stuff?

    What about a man - also in his 30's - who'd slept with 3 women?
