in We Need You
Hi all,
As some of might know TheSite.org is run by YouthNet, the UK's first online charity. As part of our fundraising we've taken a look, now and again, at referral sites. That's the kind of places where you buy from mainstream retailers but do it through another website so we get a little cut from every sale.
Now up till now these have always been a bit underwhelming and not the kind of thing we really felt comfortable going ahead with. However we think we've found a website that offers enough to make it worthwhile showing to you peeps.
Now it still looks like it was put together by a group of bored designers on a drunken weekend but the actual service seems to be pretty good.
The way it works is that you'd hit up this link -
http://www.buy.at/youthnet
And then you've got a selection of shops you can click through to, or search for products directly from the website.
We've spent some time checking it out and we can confirm all the prices are exactly the same as they would be on the shop normally - that was the first thing we checked.
Anyway, enough waffle, on to the most important thing. Using this link means that you can shop at Amazon, Waterstone's, Play.com, Marks and Spencer, National Express, Ebay and more...
So you fancy shopping at any of those shops then hit this link -
http://www.buy.at/youthnet
then click on the link for the shop, or quickly find the shop in the search if it doesn't immediately appear.
Hopefully this could be a really nice way for us to generate a few extra pennies and for you to help us out without having to spend a penny more yourself

Seriously, right i know i'm not the most amazing forum member, and most of you probably consider me a troll...
But god damn it....
KittyHugs will you please CHECK THE DATE OF THE THREAD BEFORE YOU POST IN IT.
Normally, i'd be quite quiet about this.
And i know i'm not a mod/admin...
But you've been told 5 or 6 times now about DEAD THREADS.
And it's really off putting, like really off putting...
I read this entire thread, and tried using that link, only to find that it was dead.
To be honest, i wouldn't normally mind, but this has been going on for a week plus now! Every single thread every time, i know this forums a bit slow. BUT PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STOP REVIVING DEAD THREADS...
You also got my hopes up i thought Teagan had returned to the forums and G (As in MG)
As for the thread, it was a sticky when I last checked so it may have been a bit misleading. However Shikari does have a bit of a valid point.
