Who of you has gone and booked say a week or two off from work, then gone into a travel agents either in person or online, and just asked the question "what have you got going between these dates"?

Im thinking of doing this in april, and wondering if any of you lot had any experiences or good advice about this.

    i haven't but i know alot of people who have.

    my friend did it last week and has just got back! she had a wonderful time!

    my friend and me both had the 1st week in march off work, so we went into a travel agents last week and just asked what they had that was cheap and bam :] we're off to gran canaria for a week haha. it was cheap as chips too, and okay for a short break! you can get really cheap deals last minute.

    Thats what im looking for, something literally like ring up a travel agents a couple of weeks before, and see what they got :)
