So if you could only pick one tv channel what would you pick and why?

Me it would be FX HD (as I have HD) because of NCIS and Burn Notice :)

    I love Abbie. I want a farting Hippo :(

Adult Swim, but only after 10pm.. and not on Fridays except for Harvey and Sealab

or Saturdays... except for the half hour when Stroker and Hoop is on.

Five USA or Living or Hallmark.

Just because they all show CSI basically non-stop some days .

Also Sci-Fi because it shows Buffy :D.

    Channel 4 (+ it's other channels E4 + M4 + F4)

I can't belive this channel is so overlooked. It has brought us epic shows and Dramas, it's most prolific and clearly probably best ever being Shameless, very easily one of the best programmes ever. Cutting Edge documentaries such as Dispatches, and Cutting edge :P. Then there's Film4, another subsidary, which has produced some of the grittiest and most interesting films available. Perhaps not as poisoned in pop-culture - that being to it's merit.

4 News is my choice of best news programme too, being the most comprehensive and unbiased of them all. It's The Independent of TV. BBC News is half propaganda, ITV is purely entertainment - and C5 News is just indeterminate.

I'm a huge fan of the Discovery Channel. I watch that everytime I turn on the tv. That stuff is great!
