When you were dumped, heartbroken, or just feeling down, what songs suit your mood the most? To me, they are...

REM - everybody hurts
Coldplay - Trouble, Shiver
Blur - to the end

they always make me cry...

Knew I forgot one! I have been known to cry at that on occasion (many infact). Most of these are not necessarily songs i only listen to when heartbroken, they just kinda provoke my emotions I guess. And make me cry buckets when I'm feeling down  :)

OH MY LORD! Does anyone else read this list and then subsequently think there just isn't enough vomit in the world to account for all of this???

Good songs that cheer you up are:

    Only In Dreams - Weezer
    America - Simon and Garfunkel
Stairway To Heaven - Led Zeppelin
Time Of Your Like - Greenday
Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley and one of the saddest songs of all...
    Space Oddity - David Bowie

    The list goes on.
I'm just off to brutally slaughter any teeny boppers I find...

Oh Dear, songs that make me cry.....

Phil Collins: Wish it would rain down.
    Metallica: Nothing Else Matters
    Shania Twain: From This Moment
This song may not make me cry, but it's beautiful I think, Micahel Jackson: Earth Song
Nirvana: Pennyroyal Tea (Don't know why)
Enya: Smaointe (On the Shepard Moons Album)
    Enya: Waterfalls
Spice Girls: Viva Forever, I know Spice's are REALLY old, but I used to love them to bits!! And if I ever listen to that song, it still brings a tear to my eye.
    Delirium (sp?) Silence.
:( Getting upset just thinkin' about 'em... LoL
