OMG.... tomorrow I'm starting high school, going into year 8. The schools are different were I live. But I am so scared! There are a group of year 10's who bully me...and the school has 2,500 people... the school I've come from had 480... and I don't know anybody there!!!!
What was starting high school like for you, and how can I calm my nerves?
Thanx

If you're getting bullied. Tell somebody straight away.

Question - how have the year 10 people bullied you if you've not started at the school yet?

Everyone around my area knows me... I hang out with the skinheads, all the girls are their younger sisters, and so they knew of me through the brothers. It's safe to say we didn't click...

So how are you going to a school where you don't know anybody?! Are none of your friends from your old school going?

There are 3 high schools... a boys, a girls, and a mixed. Most the kids from my middle school go to the single sex ones... I'm at the mixed. I don't get along with girls, very much a tomboy.

Well when i started high school, my mum just told me to smile and look friendly, that way people are more likely to speak to you and maybe be friends :)

I hope every body reads the time: 7:30. I am up at 7:30. AAHHH. In a way I'm looking forward to starting this school, ignoring the girls in year 10, cos it think it's going to help me stop self harm. A new me :-)

ah well there's worse. a school near me has tartan skirts in a green-blue colour, pleated and to the knees... :S another has blue and turquoise, with turquoise blouses...

they'll always be worse uniforms than yours!

My school uniform was BROWN :yuck: and to make it worse- the blazer had 'gold' (read: bright yellow) and blue stripes down it!!! Beat that :P

Oooh... and no trousers allowed, even in the coldest winter, annnd we had to wear brown DUFFEL COATS :yuck: and buy it all from a specialist shop!

I'm starting to wish the schools around here had uniforms. I've seen bathing suit bottoms that are bigger and looser than some of the shorts I've seen some girls wear at this school that I'm observing at. Just seeing the hardcore camel toe makes my vag hurt.
