Right, last night i cracked my thumb a beauty, was moving on the couch put my hand down wrong and it really hurt lol. I just tried to keep it still but, it kept getting in the way and stuff. This morning its pretty swollen on my palm side, dull throbbing pain and everytime i move it (accidentally) get a reallly sharp pain. What should i do to try and bring down the swelling etc?

    Ice? I thought you had to keep it moving so it doesn't get all stiff... Or that's what I was told when I staved my finger.
