Anybody currently on it? Or just come off it?
I've been on 20mg for about 9 months, but have just come off it. I lowered my dose to 10mg for a week, then 10mg every other day for a week, and today has been my first day of completely not taking it. However, I'm still suffering from the side effects, nausea, dizziness, tiredness etc.
I just wondered what people's experiences are of coming off citalopram, and particularly mixing it with alcohol. I didn't drink whilst on it, for fear of the combination making me ill, but I'd like to drink like I used to pre-citalopram now I'm not taking it anymore. Is this a good idea? I'm really worried it will make me ill
