    Digital Camera Photographer of the Year competition has a landscape section and a number of other sections one of which might be suitable for macros shots depending on the subject. Quality of entries is high every year.

    Best thing to do is to look in photography magazines and on web sites and stuff. Probably depends what you want out of it. For exposure I guess there are loads of competitions. For the big prizes you will be competing against high-level amateurs or even pro photos.
