How can anyone take this prick seriously? Okay, I admit no-one does, but isn't it depressing how this corrupt wanker is in charge of football?

Here are his latest thoughts.
Sepp Blatter still wants to curb the Premier League's spending power, but the FIFA president accepts his aim might be difficult to achieve.

Just weeks after he said this about Real (which coincidentally he's an honourary member on their board):
"We are in a sensitive market at the moment and there is an economic crisis. But football is a good product and we are giving people what they want."
"It is the game of the people and full of emotions. Football needs to have stars like Ronaldo."

"Almost ten years ago, Luis Figo went from Barcelona to Real Madrid for £37m, at the same time a Picasso painting was sold for £100m at Sotherbys in London."

"But they hide that away and no one can see it. A football player is everywhere for everyone to see. They are stars."

"You can't say it's too much money because you have to make it relevant to everything else, what is £80m now? Let us be generous about it.”

This only a couple of years he was whinging about Chelsea:
"This cannot be the future of our game. FIFA cannot sit by and see greed rule the football world. Nor shall we. The time has come to take action to curb the excesses and ensure that the sport protects its roots."

Apparently he has a problem with rich people putting money into football, but no issue with clubs taking out huge bank loans to fund their excessive spending.
