Converting lace up trainers to velcro?

Can someone tell me if this is possible, please? And if so, where can I get it done?

    I wouldn't have thought so. Don't see how it would work.

    Could you not just buy velcro trainers? It would almost certainly cost less than the price of that kind of adaptation, if it's even possible.

    If it were possible it would be a botch job rather than something that looked good, just because if they were going to be velcro fit then they'd have been designed with that in mind from the start. I don't think it'd look that great to change it.

    Still maybe there is a niche market there in after-sales shoe modification.
