changin ur working hours due to children

Does anyone have any info on laws when it comes to wanting to change your hours at work for men so you dont work weekends due to not being able to get child care, where before the children lived with the mother?

    I think if the children are under 5 they have to make reasonable attempts to be more flexible with hours. But they dont HAVE to do it if its not possible for them.

    The employer has to make reasonable adjustments for workinhg hours. A 'business need' for the current hours can mean adjustments are not reasonable, i.e. they don't have to do it.
