time for a new phone?

mine is really old, the middle button has caved in so i have to tilt it to press into it when i want to hit enter. but it gives it character and i was adament i wasnt getting a new one.

since last night i havent been able to receive text messages. could this be a faulty phone or sim card?

im going to ask around to see if anyone has an old phone i can borrow for a little while.

Hi Rachael. Your best bet would be to have your kit tested at your provider shop so that they can determine whether it's the sim or the phone that is at fault. If the phone is knackered, then you'll need to decide what your budget is for a replacement.

thanks. having googled it, some people are suggesting to ring up the network provider. would this just be the 'customer service' number in the phonebook? i wont be able to get to a shop until monday now, dohh
