Recently had my mobile stolen. Not very happy but did call vodafone to cancel sim but the thief used my sim to phone Albania and put call charges onto my bill making it almost £100. Not very happy. Phone the local police to report it stolen and given crime reference number. Phoned vodafone today to tell them that I have been a victim of crime. Gave them my reference number and they now say I have to pay £17 ...a lot less than originally recorded on my statement. So if you ever get a phone stolen cancel sim straight away, phone police but on a non emergency number just incase the thief uses your phone.
